Saturday, June 29th – Milan to Florence

Sunday, June 30th – Florence
Breakfast in hotel. Free time for lunch (not included). Walking city tour of the capital of the Italian Renaissance. You will discover the important role that Florence had in the history of architecture and art: Brunelleschi’s dome, the Baptistery, the Uffizi Gallery courtyard, the Piazza della Signoria with the Church of Orsamichele and Ponte Vecchio. Typical dinner in restaurant. Return to the hotel.
Monday, July 1st – San Gimignano/Siena/Chianti
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by coach for a tour of the beautiful region of Tuscany, with San Gimignano, in the Chianti region, and the medieval town of Siena, the main tourist destinations for those who want to live an unforgettable experience full of emotions. San Gimignano, a magnificent example of a Medieval town, included in the UNESCO a World Heritage Site list and famous all around the world for its picturesque towers, will be the first stop of this tour. You will have free time to visit every corner of the town, with its lovely squares, buildings and churches. You will then visit the beautiful area of Classic Chianti and stop at a winery to taste local wines. Free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon the tour will continue in Siena where you will learn more about the architectural styles of the Cathedral and the Municipal Building of Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio race takes place. Then back to the hotel in Florence.
Tuesday, July 2nd – Cinque Terre
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day dedicated to the discovery of one of the most beautiful and picturesque landscapes in the world. You will take a tour, by train or boat, of the Cinque Terre National Park area, included the UNESCO World Heritage Site list, where the sea and the land blend together to create a unique and evocative landscape. Eighteen kilometres of rocky coast characterised by bays, beaches and deep water, and hiking trails with spectacular views. Free time for lunch during the excursion (not included). Then back to the hotel in Florence.
Wednesday, July 3th – Florence to Venice
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Florence train station and then high speed train to Venice (premium class, reserved seats).
Short walk to the hotel. Walking tour (no entries) through the most characteristic and important places for the history of Venice. An essential tour for the understanding of Venice and its main monuments: Palazzo Ducale, Bell Tower, Clock Tower, Marco Polo’s House, Basilica San Marco and its wonderful and characteristic square. Return to the hotel and overnight.
Thursday, July 04th – Murano and Burano
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Murano and Burano, the most famous and traditional tourist destinations among the small islands in the Lagoon. In Murano, known throughout the world for its glassmaking Art, you will visit a Furnace to see glass products being made. The tour will then continue towards Burano the island famous for its lace-making and for the brightly-coloured fishermens’ houses, painted in this way in order to let the fishermen see them from long distance, according to a legend. Lunch in a typical restaurant during the excursion. Return to hotel and overnight.
Friday, July 05th – Venice/Milan
Breakfast at the hotel. Short walk to Venice train station and then high speed train to Milan (premium class, reserved seats). End of our services.
